What If I separate the word or conjugate the verb? Would it carry weight across the air? Something phonetically occurred in me Reverbed unheard syllabically An astute untouched word Resonated within me In the hallowed halls Where the dead well called To die today, a day of death Forgive the best, of their lies I knew no other God loved your mother I knew no other words but mine. There lies ahead a grave A grave beside a bed It's ahead a bed of Roses Supine and sun-spent Wilted petal and concrete bent The nature of this place and it's double face I knew no other God took your brothers I knew no other words but mine. What If I separate the word or conjugate the verb? Would it carry weight across the air? Something phonetically occurred in me Reverbed unheard syllabically You'll never catch a priest throwing soil over me.

Oh my love Oh if you're stricken down If you're cut down in your prime Oh dear God Won't please you give me now A second more of her time And if you're old before your time we'll pickle you in brine that's the deal dear And if you're old before your time we'll pickle you in brine that's the deal dear And if there is one thing worse than growing old Maybe it's the fear Oh dear fate Don't deliver her Too early at your gate And it's our time now One atomic tock Another tick I have to sate And if you're old before your time we'll pickle you in brine that's the deal dear And if you're old before your time we'll pickle you in brine that's the deal dear And if there is one thing worse than growing old Maybe it's the fear And if there is one thing worse than growing old Maybe it's the fear

about

The single “Separate the Verb” was recorded and mixed with Wild Beasts, and iLiKETRAiNS engineer and producer David Pye. The single “Separate the Verb” will be released on the 19th of April 2013 on independent record label Bare Feet Records.

The single itself will come in a limited edition hand-made CD case complete with single, B-side, remix of the single by Sohla, and a solo version of the single. We're only going to make 100 copies.

The CD cases were made by laser cutting a piece of beech wood to form a stamp with the help of designer Ed Cann, then each CD case was hand-stamped with a variety of different ink combinations resulting in a truly unique CD case every time.

The artwork was supplied by photographer and designer Alex Kozobolis.
